The Colorado First Agenda
Education, School safety & parental Rights
Strong Schools, Empowered parents, a brighter future for colorado
A strong Colorado starts in the classroom—with students who feel safe, parents who have a voice, and schools that prepare young people for real-world success. At Colorado First Action, we believe parents—not bureaucrats—should guide the education of their children. That’s why we’re leading the charge to protect parental rights, expand school choice, fund real career pathways, and ensure safe, supportive learning environments across our state.
Protect Parental Rights
Support candidates who defend homeschooling, charter schools, and school choice.
Oppose radical state mandates that force dangerous ideological agendas into classrooms.
Ensure curriculum transparency and parental access to instructional materials.
Expand Career & Technical Education
Advocate for state funding of trade schools and technical programs to give students career-ready skills and build a blueprint for the future. College and university isn’t for everyone. It’s time to give options to students that make them succeed
Fight to end the failed "One Size Fits All" education model and give students real alternatives.
Invest in Rural and Underserved Schools
Secure targeted funding for rural and low-income school districts, ensuring no student is left behind because of geography or income.
Promote educational access across every Colorado community.
Enhance School Safety—Without Sacrificing Rights
Support funding for School Resource Officers (SROs), metal detectors, and modern security measures to keep students safe.
Defend students’ rights and privacy while implementing effective safety solutions.
What We're Doing
Colorado First Action is actively working to:
Elect school board members who protect charter, homeschool, and parental rights.
Lobby for state legislation that funds trade/technical education and expands school choice.
Partner with legislators to write and support laws that protect funding for underserved school districts.
Why It Matters
Our education system should serve families—not special interests. The Left wants to replace parents with state bureaucrats, push far-left, unaccountable curricula, and trap students in failing schools. We say: Not in Colorado.
CFA is building a coalition to restore local control, fund real career pathways, and bring safety and accountability back to our schools. Together, we’ll deliver a future where every student can succeed and every parent has a say. Join the Fight
